About Heather Wilson, MHRD, CITI, CMP

Heather Wilson is an organizational development executive and founder of The Brand Strategy Tank, where she serves as principal people strategist at the intersection of brand, culture and growth. She has led large-scale workforce and cultural transformations across Fortune 100 and high-growth organizations, partnering closely with C-suite leaders through mergers, acquisitions, restructurings and enterprise-wide change. Her work centers on aligning business strategy with human strategy – scaling teams, clarifying employer value propositions and building cultures that perform under pressure.

A dual lecturer at the University of Arkansas, Heather teaches the next generation of business leaders in marketing and workforce strategy, blending real-world executive experience with academic rigor. Her expertise spans strategic workforce planning, culture architecture, digital transformation and employer brand strategy, with a focus on sustainable, people-centered growth.

Heather holds a master’s degree in Human Resource Development and a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Communication and Human Resource Workforce Development from the University of Arkansas. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in Leadership and Learning in Organizations at Vanderbilt University, deepening her research in organizational systems and adult development.

A committed civic leader, she serves as commissioner and secretary of the Eureka Springs Advertising and Promotion Commission and has held board roles with the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life, Lost Boys of South Sudan and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society – championing equity, community resilience and social impact alongside her executive work.
