Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging
DEIB efforts should be woven into the organization’s fabric, standing as a pillar. By publishing a diversity report, a company demonstrates that it values transparency and is willing to be open about its diversity and inclusion efforts. This can build trust with customers, employees, and other candidates. It was a privilege to author TaxJar’s inaugural Diversity and Inclusion Report. Not only did it set a benchmark internally, it inspired others in tech to set it as a benchmark for themselves. This report was instrumental in identifying areas where the organization needed to improve and set goals and in working toward doing better for everyone.
